Participants in a seminar led by Richard Leonard sj know that they will be enthralled from the outset, and that was certainly true of the recent Mercy in the Movies. Continually alluding to the theme, Richard beckoned us into the experience of mercy, through an interweaving of words and stories from gospel witnesses, scripture, society and culture – notably the media.

Many Catholics would be unaware that there are three forms of the Roman Rite: the Ordinary form experienced in our parishes; the Extraordinary form which is the 1962 Mass in Latin and the form known as Divine Worship, approved in 2015.
