Three religious leaders and three lay people were arrested on Thursday 5 September, at the site of Adani’s proposed Coal Mine in Central Queensland. St Ignatius was born in 1491 in northern Spain. In 1521 he was wounded in a battle with the French. While recuperating, Ignatius Loyola experienced a conversion. Reading the lives of Jesus and the saints made Ignatius happy and awakened desires in him to do great things. Ignatius realised these feelings were clues to God’s direction for him.
