In recognition of our volunteers, the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle hosted a movie night for these wonderful people on Thursday 19 May. The volunteers were not only treated to seeing Channing Tatum on the big screen in the new release The Lost City, however also got to experience the red carpet treatment at Event Cinemas, Kotara.

Our Diocese deeply values the significant contribution volunteers make to our various committees, schools, parishes, and social services. Our volunteers enrich the quality of life for the people we support through their good deeds. Without them, some of our important programs and services would not be able to operate across the communities we serve.
