TUESDAYS WITH TERESA: Our Care for Our Earth
“Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you made me welcome, naked and you clothed me, sick and you visited me, in prison and you came to see me…in so far as you did this to one of the least of my brothers and sisters, you did it to me.” (Matthew 25: 31-46)
TUESDAYS WITH TERESA: Journeying Together
Once again, Sunday night has me sitting at my desk thinking about our diocese and what I might share with you from the past week, or the week that is to come.
TUESDAYS WITH TERESA: Synodal Leadership
This past Sunday (32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time) we began Chapter 25 of Matthew’s Gospel, to be read over the two weeks, as we bring to closure the Year of Matthew. Chapter 25 is an invitation for us to think about our mortality and to seek God’s Kingdom, not only now, but for eternal life. This week’s Gospel message is about keeping our lamps burning with the spiritual nourishment of Jesus Christ.
