An invitation to women of faith

Last year Vice Chancellor Teresa Brierley and I were invited to the Sisters of Islam dinner by Diana Rah, from the Newcastle Muslim Women’s Association. The Muslim sisters hold an annual dinner which enables them to join together with many women from different cultures.

The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle would like to invite you to the Sisters of Christianity Dinner, which provides an opportunity for Christian women to join together with women of faith from all Christian denominations and with women of other faiths.

Debbie Carstens from Northern Settlement Services, will speak about the joys and challenges of women from other countries settling in a new country, and how we can respond with hospitality as Women of Faith.

You are warmly invited to join us, to enjoy each other’s company and get to know a new sister of faith.

The dinner will be held on 7 March from 6.30pm to 9.00pm, at the Diocesan Offices, 841 Hunter St, Newcastle West. Please RSVP to brooke.robinson@mn.catholic.org.au by 3 March.

A love offering toward the dinner would be appreciated.
