Student activities included: The Bridge, Catapult, Mission to Mars, Eco-habitec, Hover Frenzy, Robots, Future Power, Turbine, Grasping at Straws, Who gets the Water?, Helter Skelter Shelter and Stringways.

Four of our secondary schools made the last 24 schools from across state – St Mary’s High School, Gateshead, St Catherine’s Catholic College, Singleton, St Pius X High School, Adamstown, and All Saints College, St Peter’s Campus, Maitland.

St Mary’s won day two, which will see them progress to the National Championships in Hobart. Honourable mentions included St Peter’s who won day three, closely followed by St Pius X.

Congratulations to St Mary’s who walked away the state winners and St Peter’s and St Pius X who came 2nd and 3rd overall.

Such an amazing effort – 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the state!

Congratulations again to all the students and their teachers on their wonderful effort, great teamwork and distinction in representing their schools and the diocese.
