“CatholicCare Social Services Hunter-Manning is a provider of opportunity for people with a disability, helping them to develop their independent living skills at home and in the community,” Acting Director of CatholicCare Social Services Hunter-Manning, Gary Christensen said.
“Since the NDIS was first introduced in the Hunter a few years ago, and more recently in the Manning last year, it has afforded greater choice and control for people living with a disability, to choose the services that best align with their needs.
“As an NDIS provider, we’ve helped hundreds of people to achieve their goals through our various disability supports. We understand navigating the NDIS can be overwhelming; we pride ourselves on working in partnership with the people we support to deliver our services in the way that suits them best. That approach was a key motivator for us developing the video, as we understand that for some words on a page can be meaningless, but seeing in action the types of support we can offer better resonates,” Gary said.
