VIDEO, GALLERY: Interactive smartboard for Newcastle West pre-schoolers

St Nicholas early learning teachers gathered at the Newcastle West centre today for a smartboard training session.

The Newcastle West preschool room features a brand new smartboard that complements the school readiness program, designed to prepare children for the transition to school life. Keepad Interactive trainer, Peter Niass, demonstrated the features and highlighted the possibilities and benefits of using an online interactive smartboard with pre-schoolers. “The smart board is just like a large tablet, with different software and games available to download, enhancing learning activities and providing a collaborative tool for children and their teachers to work with,” said Peter.
