Mother's Day Celebrations

Last week students stepped away from the classroom to celebrate the many extraordinary women who have played such formative and fundamental roles within their lives.

“Mother is the name for God in the lips and hearts of little children.”  William Makepeace Thackeray

The entire San Clemente school community came together to host a beautiful breakfast. With the help of staff and volunteers, the students catered and delivered breakfast accompanied by lovely live music.

Joined by Fr John, St Dominic’s celebrated Mother’s Day with a liturgy and morning tea.

St Joseph’s, Bulahdelah spent the morning celebrating Mother's Day enjoying yummy croissants, followed by a liturgy with songs, poems for mums and some great drawings of "What my mum's or special mum-figure's dream job is".

The St Columba’s, Adamstown church, classrooms, and playground were filled with smiles and love as they welcomed mums and grandmas into the school for a Mother’s Day liturgy, afternoon tea and activities.
