Showing off their dance moves to family and friends, students showcased their crafty Easter hat creations as they paraded around the school hall.

It was decorations galore with glitter sequined top hats, feathered covered cowboy hats, paper mache and polystyrene eggs, chick strewn creations and classic pink bunny ears.

“The Easter Hat Parade is both a wonderful way to celebrate as a school community and as a reminder that Holy Week has given us a reason to be grateful for the many good things we enjoy,” said School Principal, Mark Hornby-Howell.

“Seeing the genuine joy and excitement on the faces of the children and the happiness they give to family and friends present is amazing. It is one of those special events on the school calendar.”

With the support from the Parents and Friends Association who organised the Easter raffle, everyone had their fingers crossed in the hope to get their names drawn. Prizes ranged from large Easter bunnies to Cadbury egg gift baskets.

“The Easer Hat parade was a lovely celebration for the end of the school term, especially to see the amount of fun the students had. It was a wonderful way to strengthen community building, where students could join in the fun with their peers”, said teacher Luke Moore.
