There’s an old saying, “If you can’t beat them, join them” and this is what we did at St Patrick’s Primary School, Cessnock when it came to keeping children out of our gardens. We put in paths made up of stepping-stones that allow the children to enjoy the gardens, while reducing their impact on this precious habitat.
Students from St Patrick’s schools across the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle took part in a variety of fun-filled activities this week to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
St Patrick’s Primary School, Cessnock prides itself on its gardens and it has, without doubt, some of the best in the Diocese. Our recent addition has visitors’ senses working overtime.
