Louise Gannon rsj is the Diocesan Manager of Worship and Prayer.
What is often called ‘The Great Commission’ which Jesus handed to all his disciples and, therefore to the Church, has two elements: proclaim the Good News and baptise in my name.
I could begin by asking you which of the three words in the title of this article doesn’t fit. If you read on you will see they are a natural fit!
On Saturday afternoon 21 September we celebrated our very first communal choir and prayer which was called Creation Sings!
And let it begin with me. Let us pray:
“They will not hurt or destroy on all my holy mountain...” —Isaiah 11:9
Some of you will recognise the title of this week’s Liturgy Matters as a reference from the Prophet Isaiah 43:19a.
YOU are invited to come along and be part of our very first Creation Sings!
