What Morgan shared is a true indication that Faith Matters as she commenced her talk with a quote from Mystic Padre Pio, “Blessed is the crisis that made you grow, the fall that made you look to heaven and the problem that made you look for God”.
The following quotes are from Morgan’s testimony.
FAITH MATTERS: Fresh eyes to see a new
After a couple of years of cautious participation in everyday living, it seems 2023 has moved at a rapid pace, and the common reflection of, ‘what pandemic?’ is shared as society has returned to planning for new events, holidays and gatherings that see people come together to learn, celebrate, and grow.
FAITH MATTERS: The Synodal Way
Have you ever read an article or book by a particular person and can hear their voice speaking the words? This is how I feel when I read anything written by Father Timothy Radcliffe, he simply does not write or read to you or for you but with you, he takes you on a journey.
FAITH MATTERS: Sharing the Good News with children
There are almost 300 primary schools in our diocese, and more than 200 of those are public schools. Under the Education Act of 1990, government schools are expected to allow time for scripture to be taught in classrooms. Unfortunately, there are many children who miss out because the schools simply cannot man the classes.
FAITH MATTERS: The Season of Creation
Throughout the month of September, Christians across the world will celebrate the Season of Creation, this is an annual invitation to pray and reflect on our shared call to care for the earth - our common home and the good creation of God.
FAITH MATTERS: Moved Through Ministry
“It has enriched my life in so many positive ways, I think this is definitely something I want to do with my life!”
FAITH MATTERS: If You Seek Him You Will Find Him
All my worries are lifted from me when I praise God our Creator.
