Book Week story time!
This morning a child brought in a story book from home. She was so excited she came running into the room, book in hand, to show her educators! We then gathered the children to the mat for a group time before morning tea so one of our educators could read the story to the children.

Henny Penny Hatching program at St Nicholas Singleton
Again, the Preschool Room at St Nicholas Early Education, Singleton, has the Henny Penny Hatching Program. The program is set up in our room for two weeks. Throughout the program the children and educators watch chickens hatch out of their eggs and then hand raise them when they are transferred into the pen.
From little school to big school
Each year the 4-5 year olds in the preschool room at St Nicholas Early Education - Singleton participate in a Transition To School Program with St Catherine's Catholic College.
