Catholic Schools across Maitland-Newcastle celebrate Catholic Schools Week during 23-27 May.

Catholic Schools Week is an opportunity for Catholic schools to showcase what they do best – high quality learning and teaching within a caring and supportive Catholic community.

2022 TWEC Dinner

From 22-26 June our church celebrates the World Meeting of Families, which is a time to gather with loved ones. Please join us in gathering as a family of friends at the 2022 TWEC Dinner held on Friday 24 June. The theme for this dinner is ‘Honouring the Sisters of St Joseph Lochinvar’. 

Volunteer Week movie night

Our Diocese deeply values the significant contribution volunteers make to our various committees, schools, parishes, and social services. Our volunteers enrich the quality of life for the people we support through their good deeds. Without them, some of our important programs and services would not be able to operate across the communities we serve.   

Assistance with Settlement Services International for accommodation for families from refugee backgrounds

Settlement Services International (SSI) assists newly arrived refugees to resettle in Newcastle through the Humanitarian Settlement Program (HSP).

The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle now has its own specific sport website information pages. The webpages are accessed via the Catholic Schools NSW (csnsw.sport) website. The webpages will provide information to parents about our sports information, including events.
