This is ordinarily a very busy and exciting time for the residents of Scone, as they come together to celebrate the Horse Festival, which takes place between 8–17 May.
Gael Lyall is a canteen volunteer at St Joseph’s College, Lochinvar who has been selflessly serving the school’s community for 15 years. In honour of her contributions to the school she’s been nominated this year for National Volunteer Week.
St Joseph’s Primary School,Merriwa, and the Where There’s A Will Foundation have been in partnership for about five years with the aim of effecting cultural change in the Upper Hunter through improved literacy of wellbeing and mental health in our schools, families and community.

Sandra Kinloch, Leader of Learning Technologies at St Joseph’s College, Lochinvar, is the 2020 recipient of the Emmaus Award for First Five Years of Teaching.
