As part of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle Catholic Schools Office High Potential and Gifted Education program, the Virtual Academy provides students with the opportunity to go beyond their classroom curriculum and complete research projects close to their hearts, or even their teeth!
Our commitment

NAIDOC Week 2024
NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
Investing in our students and our region
The Diocese recently announced that work would soon commence on its newest school, Catherine McAuley Primary School at Medowie. This will be the fourth school that the Diocese has developed since the opening of St Aloysius Catholic Primary School at Chisholm.
