The premiere marked a special occasion to celebrate and thank those, in our community, who are making a world of difference by giving their time. The most precious resource in our lives.
On the evening over 160 volunteers from the Hunter, Newcastle and Manning area gathered to mingle and celebrate and to most importantly be thanked by Volunteer Manager Brodie Clark for their ongoing dedication.
In the Diocese, we have more than 10,000 registered volunteers from all walks of life who lend their skills, passion and time across all our agencies.
Volunteers assist with serving and preparing meals, supporting the well-being and education of children, integrating new migrants into the community, visiting the sick and elderly, and much more.
All roles playing a vital role in fulfilling the Diocese’s mission – “to live the joy of the Gospel and share it with the world”.
