Many, in our parishes and schools, are ever mindful of living the cycle of the liturgical year in the work and gifts they bring to preparing liturgies for their communities. This journey of feasts in the church calendar closes with an air of hope and anticipation of a new beginning, so let’s celebrate!
The Diocesan Liturgy Council invites you to the inaugural ‘end of liturgical year party’ on Friday 24 November, 5-7pm at Newcastle West. This is an opportunity for Bishop Bill and community liturgists to celebrate the past year in a fun and relaxed setting.
It’s a party so there will be no work, other than nominating a liturgical achievement and your favourite hymn. Drinks and light refreshments will be served as we sing along to those favourites and acknowledge our accomplishments.
If you haven’t yet registered to join the party, please do so soon for catering purposes. Details can be found here.
